I have never owned a four wheeler but I have drove some of my friends, I am look at buying a 300ex or a 400ex and I was wondering what you guys would think. I am 5'10" and 150lbs. I want one with a reverse and I know the 400exs didn't have reverse until I think 2005. I want a atv for riding trails and my friends and the dunes. Thanks.

I say that just because once you get used to it, you will want more power.

I just bought a 400EX back in October as my first ATV, and I'm already wanting more power haha.

The 300EX`s are fun, but not really a major power rider like a 400EX, and besides if your just riding trails you shouldn't need reverse right?

 

The 400ex will cost more but as the other's said, its noticeably more power. And reliable power too.
