Default TaoTao 125g only starts with remote

I recently purchased a taotao 125 for my son. I'm having an issue. It assembled just fine and I cannot get it to start with the ignition switch. I can start it just fine with the key fob provided. I have heard that there is an alarm reset that needs to be done and I cannot find any type of directions for a reset. Any advice or direction is most appreciated.

Also I have held both brakes (foot and right hand brakes) switch is set to run and in neutral. No dice brake light does not come on either. I hit the start button on the fob and starts right up.

Seems like a bad connection on the brake light circuit.

Default Please help

I bought a 2008 taotao 110 it was running great but the chain popped off while riding it and it died. I put the chain on and now it has no power at all. The lights don't work it won't try to start or anything. I can get it to start with a screw driver at the starter solenoid. Can anyone help please???

Check the wiring, a sudden jolt may have dislodged a wire or the flailing chain hit something. First thing, battery and earth connections, next thing main fuse, then key switch.

i checked everything and it was all good. I unplugged the cdi box and took out the wire for the safety switches on there and replaced the solenoid now the solenoid is clicking. I used a screwdriver to see if the solenoid had spark to it and see if it would still start up that way and there is no spark.
