I am installing a new starter in my 03 Bayou 250 and have run into a snag taking the old starter out. It seems there are two (what I assume) are hard oil lines running past the end of the starter on the right side (sitting on the bike). Is there something I'm missing?

Do I have to take these lines off? I didn't find much info googling starter removal/installation.
