Is it possible to find out the year and model of an atv by the model number, that's the only number I can locate. Except one on the frame but its not enough digits, help would be greatly. Appreciated

 

Older model 250,300,350 and 400,425,etc (88 to 95) had a W then the year model on the right side down tube. Serial number was on the back side of the tube. If you still have the recoil serial number,the first two digits are the year model. If you have less than 17 digits on the left lower frame on the later models then someone has ground off some numbers.10th digit on these was the year model.
