I recently bought an 08 400 sportsman. I like the quad but I feel like it has some lost performance because of the clutching. Am I making a mistake looking for a clutch kit?

 

This machine is basically a Fugi 400 mated to a Hawkeye clutch system and gear case. Look at the clutches to see if there are any worn rollers in the drive clutch and also the rear clutch and belt. Repair what's needed and enjoy it for what it really is. It was designed as an entry level Sportsman.
