Default Valve adjustment 07 trx400ex

Hey guys this is my first post
I just adjusted the valves on my 07 trx400ex
and I can't get the right exhaust valve to stop ticking. I was at TDC on the exhaust stoke to make all adjustments. I read a post that said once you adjust the other 3 slowly continue to turn the crank until you hear a click then adjust the right exhaust valve. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By they way I haven't tried that yet.

You don't have to be all concerned about strokes.. Just remove the large cap on the left engine cover and inspection cap above it. Use a socket to turn the engine over and look at the intake valves only. When the rocker arms go down and start to come back up,slowly turn until you find the tdc mark through the inspection hole. Both intake valves and both exhaust valves can then be checked/adjusted if needed. Ticking noise could be valves out of adjustment or could be a worn cam chain.

Thanks OPT. I have adjusted them several times and the right exhaust still seems to be ticking. So worn cam chain? I will look into that next. Any other thoughts. Is it urgent to replace or possibly safe to ride for a while.
