Default 2015 Sportsman Value

Hello I am about to pull the trigger in my first Polaris quad and want to make sure the price is fair.
specs:
2015 570 Sportsman EFI
20hr / 138miles
back rack has chunk broke out of the corner (2x2")
overall very clean

Is 3500 a fair price?
Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Nada.com says average retail price is $4,755 in my area code. It may be a little different in your area, but it sounds like a really good deal if there's nothing else wrong with it besides the broken rack.

I haven't seen a used Sportsman 570 for that price anywhere around here. I've seen used 500 models for nearly that much. 138 miles is barely broken in. Sounds like they really want to sell. A cracked rear rack could be several things. They may have rolled it on its side or backed into something. That's one thing I hate about composite racks. A steel rack would just get bent if the same thing were to happen.

Heck of a deal if the rack is the only thing wrong and in good shape. Even KBB has it listed higher on dealer and trade in price. $3770 and $5480. https://www.kbb.com/motorcycles/pola...-570-eps/2015/

That's if it has EPS. If it doesn't have EPS it's not as high but $3,500 is still a good deal. KBB lists the retail price $65 higher than NADA. https://www.kbb.com/motorcycles/pola...=4-wheel%20atv

Oops, didn't see that part .. Kbb still shows a little over $4800 dealer price and $3300 trade in on an non eps. Still a fair price on the machine's if it's in good shape. Nada may show a little different.

Sounds fair. Also, check to see if the recall work has been done. Recently came out from Polaris. Something with the fuel vent line. If not, bring it to a dealer and they'll take care of it.

I wonder why they're selling it and how badly they want it gone. That could affect your ability to perhaps even negotiate the price down a little more.
