Default Ongoing speedo problem, 2015 570 Sporstsman.

It was occasionally, now frequent. The speedometer will creep up, basically peg itself. Then just sit there. After shutting down and restart it usually rests and runs OK for awhile, then it does it again. Took it to dealer and of course it would not do it. Now it's doing it again.

My understanding it is an electronic sender and an electronic speedo, is that correct?

What could cause this?

Digital Wrench(if they hooked it up to it) may or may not find erratic problems like this. You can pull the speedo harness connector, clean and use some electrical grease. If that doesn't help you may need to get the shop manual(fairly expensive) to do a connector pin check. Problem could be in the connector,a simple wiring short in the harness or a problem from the regulator or ecu to the speedometer.Plus clean the speedo sensor connector and use some electrical grease. Hopefully that may be the problem area..http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detai...P-4013908.html
