'08 Trailblazer 330 Hooked Battery Up Backwards
#1
Well, I'm back again.
I just bought this ATV and it seemed to run pretty good. Just no lights. After a few days it seemed really sluggish and bogs down at about half throttle.
I thought the battery might be low so I removed and charged the battery. Upon reinstalling the battery I connected the cables backwards...
I tried to start it before I realized what I had done.
Now I get power on the Instrument panel showing the gear indications but that is it... Turn the key and I am not getting power to the starter. I can jump the solenoid and it starts fine. I figured that I fried a fuse or module so I removed the plastics and started my search.
I haven't found any fuses or terminal blocks. I did find two connectors that are unplugged and have been wrapped tightly in electrical tape, as well as multiple wire connectors hanging loose.
I feel like I am really screwed at this point. Partly my fault but I cannot find a module where these connectors are supposed to go. It seems like someone removed one or more modules and taped the connectors for waterproofing.
Any suggestions or help is always appreciated.

If you're at least getting power to the dash on the gear position the fusible link at the battery/solenoid area is still ok and hasn't melted. One problem though is the ecm module may have fried. All the circuit breakers along with the regulator, starter lock out, starter power, temp controller, lights relay, accessory power, hot light indicator along with the fan control may be shorted. This 4011831 module is expensive.https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Module-....c100507.m3226 Before I jumped at replacing this module I'd at least go through what tests this cheap manual shows for it if you don't already have one.2008 Polaris Trail Blazer 330 Service Manual PDF Download There is a place that repairs Polaris ecm/pdm modules for $150. Your part number isn't on the list that they show, but if you narrow it down to the module it wouldn't hurt to give them a call.https://modulemaster.com/rebuilds/sh...bution-module/
