No spark ds 90

No spark ds 90
Trying to trouble shoot a intermittent no spark issue one morning it'll start the next it won't I have power up to the cdi but not to the coil unless I unhooked the ground on the cdi
5 pin cdi 02 Ds 90 4 stroke
I've also unhooked the kill wire from cdi
