Tie Rod Boot
#1
Is there a trick to installing new tie rod boots? I took the tie rod end off and worked the new boot starting with one of the bolt holes through the threaded end, but I bet I spent 30 minutes working it on. It was an OEM Polaris boot and tie rod end. Is there a trick, or do you just have to fight them on?

A little WD40 on a new dry tie rod boot helps slipping on a new one easier. Same thing on radiator hoses. Small film of oil inside and you won't have to fight them on.
