Default 03 Trailblazer rear shock

Have an 03 Trailblazer 250, rear shock is blown. Been looking everywhere for a replacement but I'm coming up empty. Can only find 16" eye to eye for the previous year models. Places that have the parts list/diagrams say that the shock is discontinued. Is there another machine that uses a 19" eye to eye rear shock that I can pull it from? Don't care if it's from a different make, just need it to work.

Welcome to the forums.

Not sure about the comparability, but some of the Fox shocks from older Scramblers used to work. Can't remember off the top of my head what year models interchanged.

Something to look in to.

I've got a 97 Scrambler with the Fox shock as well. It's 16" eye to eye, and there's not enough on the adjuster to extend it another 3". Maybe another 1/2" at most. Thanks for the suggestion though.

This was posted by OPT a while back. If anybody would know what would work, it would have been him.

Shocks.

Thanks, that helps alot.

I figured they changed the mount position on the frame rather than on the swingarm, that way everything would still be bolt on ready for any machine. But that works out for me, I've got a spare swingarm from a 99 TB, just switch them and I'll be good to go.
