Jetting my raptor since the big bore and graydon airbox, need bigger mains, upto 157.5 & 162.5 TOO lean (HOW LONG should I ride it with a fresh plug to get a good reading?/ I took it around the block and its NOT rich enough just by that short spin.)

Who was the guy at sudco to ask for? was his name john?? I remember when I ordered jets from them before someone here said to ask for a certain guy there and I did, he KNEW exactly what jets the raptor takes. PLEASE HELP! then I can break in this big bore and see post how it runs! I hope about 30 minutes of EASY riding way too lean hasn't hurt the new top end!

 

I have the # around here somewhere but I cant find it, but call Big Gun, they deal directly with Sudco and will be more than happy to give you the #, and I think the guys name is John

 

You can get the jet's at any Yamaha dealer. Just ask for the "Mikuni Small Rounds." They are the same jet's as street bikes.

 

do even the dealers sale them in increments of 2.5 or is that just sudco?

 

The guy's name at Sudco is Paul.

 

My experience here in AZ is that the dealers don't stock them, but instead they order them from Sudco. I found a motorcycle performance shop that had them but at twice the price.

If a dealer does stock them you should be able to get them in 2.5 increments.
