2007 Polaris sportsman 500 efi 4x4 problem

2007 Polaris sportsman 500 efi 4x4 problem
The wheeler runs and drives good but when in gear the engine breaking isnt working and if I engage the 4wd the machine dies. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
