Default 2004 Sportsman 600 - Isolate ignition from kill system

I have a 2004 Sportsman 600 with the coil separate from the CDI. I'm trying to trouble shoot a crank no spark issue on this quad. The factory service manual (along with many posts on this site) states to disconnect the Black wire from the CDI unit in order to isolate the CDI from the kill system, but both the quad and the wiring diagram show the Black wire from the CDI is one of the two wires feeding the ignition coil. The Black/White wire from the CDI goes into a 2-way connector that also has a Red/White wire from the CDI. The other side of this 2 way connector has 4 wires coming out of it: 2- Black wires and 2 - Red/White wires. One of the Black wires (labeled 01 on the circuit diagram) goes to the ETC. The other Black wire (labeled 03) goes into some connector looking at the wiring diagram, but I can't tell how to trace it nor what this connector is?????

Black (01) wire is Grounded if ETC switch is closed through the Brown (12) circuit

2 questions for now:
1) Is the Black/White wire the one I should be disconnecting from the CDI to isolate it from the kill system?
2) How do I trace this other Black (03) wire through this connector on the wiring diagram to determine where it goes?

Black wire from the CDI is connected to the Ignition Coil.

Black (03) circuit goes into this connector

Default Speedometer Connector

Is it possible the Black (03) circuit is going into the Speedometer Connector?
