Hi everyone! First time here and hoping someone might be able to help me with a problem. I have 2006 Polaris sportsman 500 and need to order new rear drive shafts. I’m living in Sweden and the only ones I can find say they’ll fit year models 2010 onwards....

Does this mean they won’t fit my sportsman? Or is it just the same part? I have included a link to the website Link to website

the part looks the same; just worried it might be too long.

here is the Polaris part number for your 06' 500 ( 1332421Asm., Drive Shaft, Rear [Incl. 1-6)
you can rebuild the drive shafts if all you need is the cv's and the shaft is fine. you can also get aftermarket heavier duty ones as well. I have always gone back to oem parts my self. hope this helps.

I did a search and and according to Polaris the cv will fit from 2006- to 2008 400,500,700 and 800 sportsmans. ebay link
