I'm in the market for a pipe for my 300EX. I found a Cobra. Anyone have comments on this exhaust system?

 

I havent heard anything good about them.. Ive heard they are super loud if you like that...

 

They suck my freind had one on his mojave for a few weeks and then went back to stock, they are way to loud and add little or less ***** power, I'd save my money and get a White Brothers, Big Gun, Yoshimura, or a supertrap would be way better on sound and power.

 

I had one on my Mojave also and went back to stock. the pipe was fine when it was packed tight, but the packing comes out after one good ride. I did notice a slight performance gain(when it was packed)although mostly on the topend, but it just wasn't worth the hassle. I had the 4 stroke system and yes it was very loud so I bought the silent core for it after about a week and the noise was bearable. Do you have any mods? I would recomend a filter/jet kit upgrade first. You can get both for about $100 total and you'll notice a bigger differance than just adding a pipe.

no mods yet- i have a year left for school with no help financially. i plan on the jet/filter kit first. is it really that much of a difference.
