03 400ex gt thunder rear link aftermarket spring
I recently just bought a 2003 with an aftermarket rear link for the rear shock (not sure if it is gt thunder or if any other companies make them) but my preload on the rear shock was maxed out when I got it and the rear is super soft suspension wise (claps out on 5 foot jumps) so i’m thinking need a new rear spring to compensate for the link. the stock spring is a 325lbs/in and i’ve been reading that race tech is a good brand. are race tech springs longer than stock? I weigh 150 what size spring should I get so my preload isn’t maxed out and my rear isn’t soft on jumps. keeping this spring on stock shocknot looking to spend 600 on a new shock I just ride on trails and such no racing. thanks i’m new to the forum
