Default 97 trailboss 250 electrical questions

Been around the site for a while, but not too terribly active.
Sorry if it seems like I'm beating a dead horse.

I recently picked up a 97 trailboss 250 and been reading up what i can on it.
I'm trying to get everything working as it should, but the battery had a hole in it and the head light does not work. I have pulled the bulb and tested it and it is good. Also the neutral and reverse indicators don't work either.
From what I've read, it could possibly be the voltage regulator is shot, but when I hook up a good battery and hook up my multimeter, it is charging at 14-15 volts.

I'm wanting to know how and what to test in order to verify what is actually wrong before i fire the parts cannon.

Thanks in advance.

Just fired it up and the low beam works.
I think I'll be checking the switch.
