I'm in the process of getting the Ds 650 right now,but for my second quad I would like the wolverine to be it ,but i have a couple of questions first such as:

1.How is the handling?

2.Are they reliable?

3.Whats the stock top speed?

4. what mods gave the best bang for you buck?

5.Does any one know or have any good wolverine websites or photo pages?

6.Do they powerslide good?

Also does anybody have a wolverine with 6-ply razers 23" in the front and 22" in the rear.If not is any run running any kind of tire that is 23"in the front and 22" in the rear.I would like to know if it affected the steering or anything else or is it fine?

 

Don't run different size(height) tires. The Wolverine is all time 4x4 and if you change the height of any of the tires you will change the rate that tire is spinning. This will mean two of your tires are trying to go one speed and two are trying to go another speed but the drivetrain is trying to make all four go the same speed. You will have the front and rear tires working against each other. This will cause you problems.

#6. i dont think you can do slides with a 4x4 without a flip.

4. what mods gave the best bang for you buck? Jet Kit and Exhaust
5.Does any one know or have any good wolverine websites or photo pages? Not that i know of but over at highlifter you can see pics of other peoples wolverines.
6.Do they powerslide good? Yes and no yes you can throw the back around a little with stock tires and no if you put on bigger tires.

I ride a 99 Wolverine and as far as handlnig/reliability goes, there both excellent so far. I've owned mine since Sept/00. I love my machine. Stock speed is probably around 58 miles/hr. and with my supertrapp and 25" Bearclaws I get 65 miles/hr. Powersliding is not really what I would call it but you can get the Wolverine sideways with aggressive riding skills. I just installed Black center chrome edged ITP rims on 2 days ago but forgot my digital camera so didn't get anything on my site yet but it will come by the end of next week so you can see my Wolverine on the link below. Check it out sometime in the next few days and hopefully I'll have some pics with the new rims. It makes the Wolverine look 10 times better!! I love it!

 

I have a '00 Wolv and have some Titan 589MT's with chrome rims and a MegaMaxII coming from RM in about 2-3 weeks. Also have a power kit here and going to install everything at once. Can't wait to try and check it out!. I will post some pics when I get the chance.
