My first post and I'm hoping someone can please help me out. As the title states its a 1999 Mangum 500. I have an issue (rear wheels don't turn) in the rear diff, whether it's the rear diff or axel (maybe both) has yet to be determined, It's not the coupling from the shaft to the rear diff. I can see the shaft into the diff turning. So, here we go. According to the Polaris microfiche for the rear diff part #1341309 (which is what I have) and part #1341254 will work and is the same. I can cross reference them on partspolarisind. Not an issue and the axel is #5131862. Now, because this rear diff is known to be crap and no longer exists it's a bit of a unicorn. Moving along I found local-ish rear diffs #5131862 and #513626, both require axel #513626, These are newer model Magnums. I've reached out to Polaris (zero help) and have spoken to multiple dealers with mixed revieves on whether they're the same. This pricey purchase, does anyone know if these diffs/ axels are all the same?
