2006 ranger 500 efi diagnostic issues etc
#1
Hi to all
Recently joined so a newbie to all of you
So what i have is a ranger 4x4 500 efi 2006 year only had it about 20 months, when first bought idling wasn't great but ok however it got the work done we needed at the time, 6 months later the engine blew up
so i stripped and rebuilt as per service manual so 2 weeks ago ready for starting
, started and ran good for a little while then started spluttering and backfiring and not idling correct
, checked diagnostics and a couple of faults were showing so done a check as per service manual, tried to get engine running and now will not start, engine will turn over fire up but not run, checked diagnostics again and have a lot more, for the past week been trying to sort out however a little lost on where to start, the diagnostic codes are as follows in the sequence they appear 12, 42, 41, 22, 44, 45, 46, 47, 51, 61, as read the diagnostic chart it looks like a loss of power
i am at a loss as to what to check and where to start
need to get winter logging sorted soon and will miss this as its an ideal machine for us
any help and ideas would be appreciated
