My sons ('05 I think) Predator 90 went to the shop last year to adjust the carb as it would only run with the choke half open and it would backfire a lot. Bike now runs ok but it won't rev as it did before. Seems like they switched on the kids mode but there is no shunt on the ignition... They say they had to do some work in the left switch box on the handlebar to get it to start. Now it turns over (doesn't start tough) on key off. Maybe they cut some wire to the ignition that it now runs in kids mode?
