Just picked up a 1997 6x6 and it is in pretty good shape except engine blue smoking. I went though a cleaning procedure (oil change, cleaner, etc) and it is smoking less, but still needs help.
I turn the wrench quite a bit, but have not rebuilt an engine like this in a bit. Looking to do it myself or have it hired out.
Just trying to find rebuilt kits for this engine and not having much luck. Maybe not looking in the right place?
