I've got a 50cc that wont stay running. Its sat for awhile so I figured the carb was all gunked up. Took the carb apart and cleaned it out. Spotless now. Jets are free of any clogs(at least I think they are) . Got everything back together and the only way it will stay running is if i take the air box cover off and shove a shop rag into the intake hole. It will idle then. But the second I remove it, it dies again. I'm not a mechanic by any means so i need some help. I've read on another forum that it could be a stator problem to? I don't know.
