$5 for a service manual is a good price and a good investment.

Here's what I've found in here, note that it's for the 2x4, not 4x4. Not sure if there would be a difference.


CYLINDER bolts tighten in three stages crisscross pattern up to 46 ft lbs 2 smaller 6mm bolts 6 ft lbs

CYLINDER HEAD a little trickier here goes
criss cross pattern torque to 22 ft lbs
then torque to 51 ft lbs
loosen bolts evenly 180 or 1/2 turn
loosen another 180 or 1/2 turn
retorque bolts to 11 ft lbs
from this point tighten bolts evenly 90 degrees 1/4 turn
finally tighten another 90 degrees or 1/4 turn
install two 6mm bolts and torque to 6 ft lbs
note I'm not a Polaris mechanic LOL
