I need to know how to do this. I got the key from curtis sparks and I need to know what this inlve and what I have to take off of the engine. Any pictures would help alot. I have pretty much no clue where it even goes.

I highly recommend not doing this mod. The only way to make it stay in, is with a impact gun. I have gone through 2 keys and now I am happy with my stock one.

P.S I don't think all the extra reving is good for the motor. I would think about it before you put it in.

 

Well I would still like to know how to do it. I do have an impact wrench so that wont be a problem. I would just like to get all the info. i can get.

 

I put one in my 440 and think my revs aren't as quick as they use to be. I wouldn't recommend doing this mod. I'm probally going to go back to the old key.

 

Get a 400EX service manual. Or else search in the archives of this site someone wrote a detailed message about the key a while back.
