Taotao ata125-D wiring harness issue
#1
So let me begin by saying I'm a mechanic for a living and fairly decent with wiring. I bought this machine used and broken with intentions of fixing it for my son.
The wiring harness had been unplugged when I received the machine so it makes it a bit difficult to plug the connectors back in the correct way because some of the connections will plug into multiple different connectors.
My main issue now is I am not getting power to my starter solenoid.
I have the brake lever pulled and the machine in neutral. Crossing the solenoid over the machine will crank but no spark.
Ive found some pretty cruddy wiring diagrams on Google and I believe I've gotten everything connected right. Am I missing something?
Thanks.

Fairly sure Tao Taos are AC ignition, a sort of magneto system completely separate from the 12v battery powered stuff. A kill wire is used to short it to earth and stop the engine. So, you have not got the wiring right and, as you have no spark and no power to solenoid, you have two separate faults at least. Most Chinese stuff uses Honda wiring colours, red for positive, green for neg, black/white for the kill wire, yellow/red for pos to solenoid from start button, etc. Check you have all these right for a start.
