I don't want to spend a ton of money, but can I do anything to improve my get up and go on my SP2000. I can raise up the front tires if I set on the back rack. Is a K&N filter going to do much for me?

I want to go through the mud and teach the 2 wheel kids whose boss.

For one, with an sp, you will already be teaching 2x4's a lesson in mud. But yeah, a K&N will give you better air flow and you might see a 2-3 mph increase in speed. Some cheap mods I did to my explorer were the air filter, boysen pro-reeds ($39), and a clutch spring from rick ritter ($24). It made a significant difference from stock. A primary spring will definately help you bring the front end up. Good luck with any mods.
