I was just looking at an advertisment from a local dealer for a Magnum 500 and it said it has a "new" 4 valve 500 motor. My question is..What is new about it. Were the older 500's a 2 valve motor? Do the new ones make more power? Just thought I'd ask.

You really don't expect them to call it the same old motor we had last year do you. I would imagine they may make some minor changes but nothing drastic that I know of.

Just a guess, but probaly because the old Magnums were 425. They were probaly saying new for model, not new engine all together. Just a guess...
