Hey guys I have a 03 sportsman 500 that I bought for my boy to ride. I'm not 100% sure the prob with it, it will turn over fine, has spark, and will start and run for brief periods of time after turning over for 5mins. It does only have about 57psi compression so was thinking it needs a rebuild but I'm not an expert by any means. Thoughts?

 

Check and make sure fuel pump is working correctly. Also sounds like carb needs cleaned.
The compression sounds very low. I would say over 100 would be better but not 100 percent sure on that atv.
