Just picked this bike up. Doesn't run. Has spark...compression seems good though I will check it tomorrow... carb has two nipples that I don't see connections for. A very small one next to the main fuel line and one underneath on the bowl. Im a career marine mechanic but usually dealt with diesels and gas turbines. Any help be greatly appreciated

I'm presuming that the top port is a vent. The bowl nipple is how you drain the carb.

 

ok thats what I was thinking but wasn't sure. Oil injection as i am not familiar...does that enter via the carb ...?

 

I don't think so on a 50. The hose goes to the crankcase I think.

No, not into crankcase, Big pipe runs from tank to pump in engine case, little pipe runs from engine case to? Can't remember if it is manifold or carb it goes into, which is why I didn't answer before.
