Wheel spacers

I've been looking into getting some BONOSSwheelspacers for the Civic. Does anyone have any thoughts/opinions good/bad about them?

They make your wheels stick outside the fenders further, your tires will throw mud and crap up onto the sides of your car. Also put extra wear and tear on wheel bearings with the extra offset.

I think they're a bit confused. They saw Honda and asked about a Civic, this site is about atvs and utvs. Might want to go to a Honda Civic forum if you want opinions about such things.
