I have just picked up a 2005 polaris scrambler 500 but the decals do not say scrambler or 500 anywhere juat Hot shot. Are these just different decals or some other version from the factory?
Also i need a seat the plastic is broken and won't stay down. Where can I get this? Are there other polaris i could search seat wise to change? Thx

Those are just stickers the previous owner put on it. Interesting that they'd put those stickers on, and it still has the stock exhaust. They do slip on mufflers and clutch kits.
The seat from a Trailblazer will interchange with the Scrambler. Ebay will probably be the cheapest place to find one.

I appreciate the information on the seat I am going to start looking my next thing is as I changed the spark plug for what it said in the manual ut now starting to get a lot of backfire now while letting off the throttle and would idle fine but will die if sitting. any suggestions on that.
