Recently got ahold of a 2002 tbx 500 automatic where previous owner managed to crack the crankcase behind the bevel gear.

Compared the 2000-2002 crankcases visually to the later 2003 - 2009 and cant find any difference except part number.
They share most internals to (bearing, axles, sprocket) but not all.

Can i pair the 03-09 right side crankcase with my 02 left side?
