The muffler on my 2006 Polaris Sportsman has rusted out, has anybody replaced their muffler with any aftermarket mufflers? My Sportsman has dual mufflers and they are not available through Polaris. I was thinking about going to a single muffler for a 700, has anybody did this?
There is a brand on Amazon called "Caltric", has anybody used this? Just trying to get ideas before I buy one.

 

I've seen their stuff on Amazon but, never purchased anything. Judging by some reviews they seem to be kinda shady or cheap or both. But take internet reviews with a grain of salt i suppose. I'd find 3 or 4 mufflers and compare pricing. If they are way cheaper, why? just my .02

 

I have an HSP can that was supposed to be on a newer 1000, on my 06 700…. It took a little doing, and a lot of screwing around trying to get it to fit without getting bashed by the sway bar…. But it’s on there and sounds fairly decent. Not quite the sound I wanted, but It flows better than stock.
