It's not going to happen.

 

Nope, they will announce the TRX450 4X4 with selectable locking front differential. You 4X4 boys got your wish granted. I hope we're next on the list.

 

They already announced the TRX450 4x4's and there is no locking differential that I can see.

It is there my friend, you can select 2wd or 4wd. It still has a limited slip front differential though. I was looking at 450 motocross bike page and Honda claims that motor makes 55bhp. That is huge, man I hope they put that in a quad.

 

wow 55hp!!!,,,take out the 400ex motor (xr400) and put in the CRF400 motor in the 400ex frame and change the front shocks. This would be one bad quad that would be a good CC motor to run with the power to smoke anything out there. Man,,my 400ex would be up for sale the day honda even mentions this, a 450ex with 55hp. What a dream.

 

Honda wont even consider a new sport quad as long as the 400 is still selling so well....why cut its life short....if and when it starts losing sales it will come out with a new sport bike but untill then just gotta be happy with what we got.

 

AWSOME88250R, that is a 2wd/4wd switch. There is no mention of a locking differential.

 

In the new 4 wheel atv action, they say Honda has been hinting at releasing a XR450EX.

 

Its is just a 2wd/4wd switch. My dealer said locking front differential, and then I read on the website it is just a switch. It seems like they would go ahead and make them true 4wd if you can select 2wd/4wd.
