Hi, new to this group. Seeking some help to get this quad running.
Someone gave us a 50cc polaris predator a couple weeks ago, they said it hasn't ran in a year, ran great when parked.
The battery was dead, so the electric start wasn't working, tried to charge it, wouldn't take a charge. Drained the old gas, added new.. tried to kick start, started right up first kick, ran awesome. My son and I rode it around the yard for about half hour, put it away, started it up again the next day, rode for another hour or so, day 3 started it up, died while he was riding and won't start back up.
Checked the obvious, gas, plenty but topped it off anyways. Wondering if this bike requires a strong battery to run? Figure we'll start there, just wondering if someone can point us in the right direction before dumping money into it aimlessly. TIA
