That seem to fix the problem, But, after a while, it went back to the no lights, etc. problem. I tried many different things, and after jiggling the shifter, stomping on the brake, it came on and started right up. I did notice that I did not need to engage the brake, and when the key was on, the brake light was on. After a while, the neutral light would go dim, and the unit would struggle to stay running. Returned to a now start issue.
I'm thinking it might be a bad, or poorly connected, Brake Light Switch. If so, where is the switch located, and how do I test it? There are some "wing nut" adjustment nuts at the rear brakes, and i did turn these before I had these problems. I've since adjusted them back, but nothing changed.
Or, could it be a grounding problem?
Any help with this problem would be appreciated, as the grandkids will be back soon.
Photos of where the Brake Light Switch would help
