2001 Polaris Xpedition no spark
#1
Hello,
Tuning up my xpedition for some trail riding - cleaned the carb, new spark plug, etc. Tested it out, running good. I might be making it up (because I haven't rode it in a while) but it felt a bit sluggish on the throttle with some latency. Anyways, I tune it up, test it around the neighborhood a few times. I pull into the garage and I'm sitting there at an idle when it totally stops out of nowhere. I knew it felt electrical, because of how abrupt it was. Sure enough, no spark at all now. I checked/repaired some wires, made sure kill switch wasn't messing with me, etc. I'm guessing my next step is run some electrical diagnosis on the coil/stator/etc. Anyone have any thoughts on this or know where I can find specs to run tests on? I can't find a service manual online other than purchasing a physical one.
thanks
