2001 Trailblazer 250 starter issues
#1
I have a 2001 Polaris Trailblazer 250 2 cycle. I put in a new starter button and it hasn't been right since as the starter won't work. I feel like all the connectors are making contact at the switch. This is what I know:
- it will start when I pull manually
- the brake light works
- I get 10.68 volts to the small wire on the solenoid when I push the start button up.
- when I short the 2 posts on the solenoid, nothing happens
- the battery is new. I hooked up a jump box to the battery just to make sure it wasn't the battery.
- I checked the fuse and is good
- I cleaned the terminals at the switch
Thinking it is some safety switch issue that is not letting it start. I don't have a wiring diagram. Hoping for some direction. Thanks
