Default Baja wilderness 400

I’m working on a friends bike and I am not getting any fuel from the petcock. When I have the fuel line disconnected I get flow but as soon as I connect the fuel line flow stops. Any ideas? Fuel tank is basically full with non ethonal gas

I assume you mean the fuel stops flowing when you connect the pipe to the carb. If so, how do you know? Also fuel only flows in until it fills the float chamber, then stops until the engine starts sucking it in. Float needles can stick closed so, if there isn't fuel getting into the float chamber, that, or a blockage just above the needle, is your problem.

I pulled the carb and cleaned it so there is no fuel in the bowls. I know the fuel flow stops because I connected a piece of clear tube to make sure.

Right, so it is either the needle stuck or a blockage just above it. As you have had the bowl off, putting the float in upside down or getting it caught on something when re-assembling is another possibility, as is altering the "float height" so much that it stops the flow when empty (these are only possible on some carbs).

I now
have fuel in the bowls but now it just cranks and no start. I sprayed just a squirt of starting fluid and it started and then died.

That usually means your engine isn't getting enough fuel. As you now have fuel in the float bowl, a jet is probably blocked, so remove and blow out the jets and the holes they came from, with compressed air. Another possibility is low compression, so if you are sure, certain, positive, you got the carb clean before, do a compression test. Under 90psi, and engines get bad to start, but usually continue to run once you do get them going.

Post Baja Reaction transmission oil replacement

Hello I am reaching out to see if anyone can help me locate the transmission drain plug for a reaction 250 10 hp motor. The manual has the wrong image for the drain plug. I have attached a photo from the manual and the one that it states is the transmission drain plug actually drained engine oil. I did remove the fill bolt and gear oil did come out so maybe that’s the drain plug and there is another bolt somewhere that fills the transmission, Any help would be great thank you all for your time.

Don't know the model, but it is quite possible the transmission does not have a drain plug, as gear oil does not suffer the contamination that engine oil gets, so rarely, if ever, needs changing. As oil came out of the "filler plug" it would suggest it also a level plug, so you have enough oil in. If oil that came out was very dirty or discoloured, you may want to remove the oil and refill, turning the bike on it's side and draining through that filler hole, otherwise leave it alone.
