THE PRICE OF GAS HERE IS NOW $2.05, WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?!? AT PRICES THAT HIGH, I MIGHT JUST START USING MY 450 AS THE FAMILY CAR!

 

I'd rather not pay that high a price either, but it's still about half of what they're paying in Europe. Meantime, I'll use my 'other' Honda to get around. 38mpg and it's got a roof for when it rains, seats 4, too.

 

Reamber that Europe is the size of texas and people dont have 100 mile round trip commutes there IT also is a liberal (goverment does everything for you country)

 

Ouch! Gas just went to $1.70 here yesterday. From what everyone says it will hit $3.00 by mid June. My ATV gets better mileage than the truck-maybe I'll start riding it to work!

 

We haven't gotten up to $2.00 and going by the state of NY there thinking about dropping the state tax on gas and they say it will drop the price from 8-12cents less. So we will see what happens?

 

Also remember that the price of gas is so high over there b/c the taxes are so high. I don't know current prices over there, but I seem to remember that when the price of gas was $5 in France, almost $4 of it was taxes. Can we say Socialism?
