Hi everyone, I’m new here. Just joined and in need of some help, I just bought a 2005 Honda Rubicon 500 and it starts and runs great, shifts into low range and shifts through all 5 gears, goes into neutral and works fine in reverse, when I shift it to the drive position and give it any fuel, it starts clicking and grinding, making this noise like it’s half in gear and half out, have any it you guys/ladies ever have to deal with this problem, any help with this will be greatly appreciated!

 

May try an look at the shift gate make sure nothing is bent or maybe able to see if the gate or linkage has moved
