I'm looking to upgrade my stock Rancher tires to something more durable....4 or 6 ply and I don't need a big mud tire for the riding i do.. Has anyone tried the Dirt Devils or something similar ? I mostly trail ride and use it for hunting. Any info would be welcome..Thanks

I have blackwaters, I'd recommend them, they really dig, not very heavy either, about the same weight as my stock tires and rims.. got them with the .190 rims. Been riding them hard for a couple months now with little to no wear.

check out the new Titan 489 xt's. My buddy has the regular 489's and they are a great all around tire. I've got my eye on a new set of the xt's.

Take a look at the Titan 589 or the Goodyear Mudrunners. The 589 is like the 489 with deeper lugs and a different pitch on them for better cleaning. The Mudrunners are a nice all around tire. Rides smooth on the trail and really claws through the mud.

I also have the Mudrunners and really like them a lot. They do everything well, the only drawback is they are a little hard on asphalt but then again how often are you on it. I was also VERY impressed with their overall trail manners, steer well and do not weigh the machine down. I have also hear good things about the Blackwaters so they would also be worth checking out. I know the Mud Runners can be run on stock wheels and I THINK the Blackwaters also will fit.
Good luck
