Yes Sir! I was reading the StarTribune classifieds this morning and the H.O.s were advertised for $5899. How much are they in your area?
That would certainly make the 650 v-twin customers think twice wouldn't it?

I spoke with my local dealer yesterday about a new HO and I told him I had seen other dealers around the country selling HOs for $6100-$6300. He told me that was below their cost and they could not do it. I told him he was lying. He says their best price is $6699, and that does not include a winch. I will be driving somewhere when I get ready to buy another one... or two.

your right greg,
the dealers get them for the same price. i think $6699 is a little high. the only dealer that can get thoes high prices are the ones where the next nearest Polaris dealer is a LONG drive.
i agree thor that is a VERY good price.
Greg, are going to sell your sp500 and get a HO, or wait and get a sp700?? it should be out soon. The new griz should be out next month too.

I have been shopping prices on a new H.O. for a month. I finally ended up making a deal with a dealer in Utah for 6500. out the door with a winch (not installed).
All 3 local dealers in Las Vegas want full list price and still try to hit you up for setup fees on top of that. THEY CAN KISS MY A$$!!!!!

F.Y.I. - I paid $5400 American Dollars in Canada 1 day after Thanksgiving in 2000 for my HO with the Warn 2000# Winch (not installed)out the door. If you can find a dealer in Canada to sell ya one! I exchanged my money at a Casino to get the best rate and I put the GST tax on my Visa. After I crossed the border and stopped at customs to get the proper form to get my GST rebated through the Canadian Government (due to the fact that Polaris is made in the USA). I then faxed the form from customs to the dealer the next day and he credited my Visa card for the GST tax. I had a 99 SP 500 and did the same thing. $5400 American was due to the fact that the exchange rate was 1.55 at the time. I saw recently where it was up to 1.57.
