Decoloration of plastic on new 400EX
#1
Hello.
I bought a yellow 2001 400 EX 2 months ago. I washed it for the first time with TurtleWax soap and since then, I wash it only with water. Since a week, I started seeing some kind of white spot (look like a heavy decoloration of the original yellow) on the plastics. These spot can be all around the edge of the plastic and also anywhere on the middle. When I wash the spot with water it diseaper for a few seconds, and then it comes back. Do somebody has a solution to that? what is the best way to wash the ATV? and can I make that diseaper with a special product?
Thanks

On your first wash you probably let it sit in the sun wet. All the beads of water are like little magnifing glasses that will spot your plastic.I use Turtle wax soap to so I know it's a safe product so either wash it in the shade or dry it off soon after you wash it in the sun.
