Heel Clicker clutch kits ready on friday
#1
I spoke to randy at supertorqer and he will be picking up 50 clutch kits to ship on Friday 5/18/01. Hopefully maybe I can get mine by the middle of next week and have some news for you guys on how it works. From what I'm told it doubles the pulling power of the Scrambler and decreases belt slip greatly.
I'll keep you posted!

Hope the kit works out. If you want some interesting reading on this subject, do a search called "Heal Clickers Clutch". There was a heated debate about a year ago as to whether it would work or not. The arguement never got solved.

Does this Supertorquer have a website?
How much are the kits going for?
Jack Shultz was the fellow who modified the Hill Clicker kit for his 400ss over a year ago. He had to modify his clutch cover though.
I guess what you guys are say is that the same company has made a HIll Clicker kit especially for the ATV's?
Sorry guys, I've been away for about 2 months. I've got some catching up to do?
Where can I find more info on the kit?

the site is
www.supertorquer.com
Yes these kits are being made especially for atv's no cover replacement is needed. What these weights do as i have seen on snowmobiles is add weight above the pivot point. This allows the clutch to create more side pressure to the belt at all rpm's. The added pressure reduces belt slippage thus putting more power to the wheels. You guys wouldn't believe how much power you lose because of belt slipping. These weights are pretty much the norm on the snowmobile race circuit.
The kits are $190 and they only do the primary clutch. The primary spring engagement is 120 lbs to give you an idea of how much pressure these weights generate.

bubba1005,
I CANT BELEIVE im reading this!A little more than a yr ago,I was told by my Polaris mechanic Steve that the Heel Clickers kit was being made for ATVs.Jack Schultz called me and my mechanic Steve liers and said that Heel Clickers will NOT work in an ATV,he said that the belt cover will explode and shatter my primary clutches. We got into a very HEATED argument over this subject and it was put to rest after that.
I visited with Steve a few weeks ago,and Steve also said the Heel Clickers were in production and promised me a kit ASAP.Fearing ridicule again,I said to myself that I was going to WAIT until this kit was installed into my Xplorer and than re-post on it and make Jack Schultz it CROW for all the trouble he caused.
Steve tells me this kit hits SO hard that it comes with a WARNING label warning the user of wheelies ect.Everything you have said about this kit is exactly the same thing that Steve reported to me a few weeks back.Steve told me to junk my Hot Seat clutch kit,im in for a REAL suprize with the Heel Clickers.Im very excited, and cant wait to get them on mine. Thanks, you just made me LOOK good!
Hey Mr Jack Schultz, were you at now?

If I remember right, Schultz, said he was disappointed with the performance of the Heel Clickers Kit. Hopefully, the bugs are all worked out and the rest of us are just waiting to hear how you "BELT BUCKET" guys like the new set up... Interesting reading, hope it works well for all.
