Just got my 1987 Polaris Cyclone back! it wouldent start so i took it to the shop... they charged me $100.00 to clean and reset carb. and to clean the motor and get it running! is that a good price or should i start going to a diffrent place?

 

Thats kind of up to you.If your happy that it's running how can you set a price on it.They probley had at least 2 hours in it,at $50 bucks per hr.Sometimes it's hard to swallow but if your like me and to dumb or to lazy it's the price you pay.

 

THAT SOUNDS JUST LIKE ME! i really dont care about the price as long as it get's done! the guy said i wouldent be able to ride it saftly for much longer... what is that supposed to mean?

 

He means your spelling is so bad, it only makes sense you'll soon crash and burn on that mean 87'.

 

Safely? maybe it needs brakes? or is it one ride from dying? He didn't elaborate? I would call them up and ask. But if they want to rebuild it or do major work get a second opinion.
