STRONG ARM OR TIMMYBOY UPPER A-ARMS
#4
Given a choice between the two, I would have to go with the Strong Arms. I've heard too many problems with both the quality and the availability of the Timmy Boy arms. I've spoken with the owner of HSD Racing[the maker of strong arms] and am impressed with his knownedge and desire to produce quality products in a timely manner.

Gee I think my TimmyBoys are about as nice a piece of work as I have ever seen. They are a class act. I think they are thinwall Chromemoly, 'cause they weigh about half of what the stock ones do, and they are fully adjustable. But I too think Mark LoScerbo is a class act. His arms may not be adjustable, but he's done the adjusting for you, and he really knows his stuff. They are a bunch less money, and they are mild steel. I don't think you can go wrong with either.
The only way you can blow it is to NOT get one or the other. I think they make a world of difference in the handling and stability, especially in sand, and at speed. Just get some. Price and availability could decide for you.

TimmyBoys are supposed to come with instructions and decals. Mine came with zip, through Graydon. But I knew the TimmyBoys had to be set almost all the way back to get the caster I wanted. So I lined them up with the shock angle, I've heard about 9 degrees is good too. It was very accurate and convenient, using the shocks as a guide, about maxed out the TimmyBoys for caster. Then set the toe-in ( or was that toe-out?, I've heard both.) to about an eighth of an inch, and the camber to just a smidge, maybe a degree tilted in from the rear wheel, with a rider. It wasn't hard, and handles great.
